Indian Summer - Aren’t You An Angel

For a band that was around for such a little time, they left such an impact. In my opinion, the best skramz/emocore band that ever existed. Their mix of loud-quiet dynamics echoes bands like Slint and Mogwai and the chaotic performances and poetic lyrics layed the foundation for tons of post-modern screamo. The songs themselves aren’t even that complicated in terms of technical ability, but the energy and emotion put into the performances is incredible. Their 9-track discography compilation is essential listening and goes hard as fuck, especially this song, along with Millimeter and Angry Son. Backed hard.

Srs, I don’t care if this sounds pretentious or anything, I love the shit out of this band.
